Haircuts

A cut shaped around your face, your texture, and your routine.

Every cut is designed for the way your hair actually behaves and the way you actually live in it. Built to grow out well and easy to keep up at home.

Why this exists

If you have walked out of a salon disappointed before, some of this might sound familiar.

Most haircut experiences are not bad on purpose. They are built around the salon's process instead of yours. Three patterns come up over and over.

01

A cut that did not really listen to you.

You answered the questions, you brought the photo, and the cut still came out closer to whatever the stylist already knew how to do. The shape was fine. It just was not yours. The listening should be the first half of the appointment, not a formality.

02

A shape that does not work with your texture.

Cut wet, on a routine that assumes blow-drying you do not actually do, with weight that is wrong for your hair. By day three you are fighting it. The cut should be designed around how your hair behaves dry, not how it behaves under a brush in the chair.

03

Beautiful day-of, rough by week six.

Most cuts are designed for the appointment. Yours should be designed for week eight, ten, twelve. The shape should grow out into something still intentional, not something you have to schedule around.

What makes it different

A shape that fits the way you live in it.

A great haircut is not the one that looks best on day one. It is the one that still looks intentional eight weeks later, supports the way you actually style your hair, and grows out without losing its shape.

Built around your face

Shape that frames your features.

Mariana reads your face shape, your jawline, and how your hair falls before any scissors come out. The cut is designed to flatter your features, not to copy a reference photo that was made for someone else's face.

Designed for your texture

Works with what your hair actually does.

Your texture, density, and growth pattern decide what a cut will look like a week from now. Mariana cuts to your texture, not against it, so your hair behaves the way you want it to between visits.

Built to grow out well

A shape that still looks intentional in three months.

Most haircuts look great the day of and rough by week six. Mariana designs the cut to hold its shape as it grows, so you stretch the time between appointments without your hair losing its structure.

Easy to live in at home

A cut that fits your real styling routine.

If you do not blow-dry, the cut should look right air-dried. If you only have ten minutes in the morning, the shape should support that. The goal is hair you do not have to fight with on a normal day.

The process

Three steps. No surprises.

01The Planning Session

A free 20-minute video call.

You walk Mariana through your texture, your styling habits, and what you want the cut to do for you. She asks the questions that decide whether a shape will work for you. You leave with a clear direction.

02The Haircut

Your shape, designed in the chair.

Mariana cuts to your face, your texture, and your routine. You will understand every choice she makes and why it matters. The result is a cut that fits the way you actually live in your hair.

03The Care Plan

Styling that holds at home.

Before you go, Mariana walks you through how to style the cut at home, the products that matter, and exactly when to come back. Your maintenance is on the calendar before you leave the chair.

Your stylist

Mariana Reyes.

A single-stylist practice in your city. Mariana built her work around the clients other salons missed: women who had been talked over, sold the wrong service, or left with hair that did not feel like theirs.

Cuts are where she starts most relationships, because the shape decides everything that comes after. Texture, face, growth pattern, the way you actually style your hair at home, the maintenance you can keep up with. Every appointment is one client at a time.

Is this for you

This is for you if…

Read the list. If three or more of these sound like you, the Hair Planning Session is the right place to start.

  • 01You have not had a cut you actually loved in a long time.
  • 02Your hair is curly, wavy, or textured and most stylists cut it like it is straight.
  • 03You want a low-maintenance shape that works with your real morning routine, not a styled-from-scratch one.
  • 04You are growing your hair out and the in-between feels impossible.
  • 05You want a stylist who tells you honestly when a reference photo will not work on your hair.

The feeling

A cut you do not have to fight with.

The right cut feels easier on day three than it did the day of. It works with the way you already style your hair. It still looks intentional after a long week. You stop thinking about your hair, and that is exactly when it starts to look its best.

In their words

What clients say.

I have been getting the same haircut for ten years because every time I try something new I hate it within a week. Mariana actually asked how I style my hair before she touched it. The cut still looks right two months later.
[Client name]The Signature Cut
My hair is curly and I have given up on most stylists getting it. She cut it dry, the way I actually wear it, and it grew out without that awkward bowl phase for the first time in years.
[Client name]Curly cut
I brought a photo and she told me honestly that the shape would not work for my face. She explained why, then showed me what would. I left with the better version, not the one I asked for.
[Client name]Hair Planning Session
Two minutes in the morning and my hair looks like it should. I had forgotten that was even possible.

Good to know

Common questions about haircuts.

Should I bring reference photos?

Bring them. Reference photos help Mariana understand the shape and feel you are drawn to. She will tell you honestly which parts of the photo will work on your hair and which parts will not, so you leave with something that flatters you, not something that flatters someone else.

Do you cut curly and textured hair?

Yes. Mariana cuts to your texture, not against it. If you have curly, wavy, or coily hair, the cut is designed around how your hair actually behaves dry, not how it looks straightened. Bring your hair the way you wear it.

How long will my cut last?

Most cuts hold their shape eight to twelve weeks. Mariana designs the cut to grow out well so it still looks intentional even as it gets longer. Your follow-up timing is set during your appointment based on how the shape will move on your hair.

Does a Signature Cut include a wash and style?

Yes. The full cut includes a wash, the cut itself, and a finished style. If you want a separate, longer styling experience, you can add a Blowout when you book.

Do you cut color-treated hair differently?

Yes. Color-treated hair has different behavior, and Mariana factors in your color schedule and chemistry when she cuts it so the shape supports your color and the color supports your shape.
